At the Early Drug Development Center, we perform early clinical research. At our center, patients with solid tumors and rare types of cancer can be treated with promising experimental new drugs.
This department has been established as a separate and specialized unit within the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI) – Antoni van Leeuwenhoek (AVL), and is entirely focused on phase 1 and 2 clinical research.
This means that phase 1 and phase 2 studies are being conducted. We have been established as a separate and more specialized unit within the Netherlands Cancer Institute (NKI). The EDDC is fully equipped for efficient and reliable execution of early clinical research. This unit can serve as a professional partner for multidisciplinary working groups, supported with medical, administrative, and nursing assistance.
