Clinical Alliance Manager

For the last five years, I have been a member of the Phase 1 team and since June 2021, I have taken on the role of Clinical Alliance Manager. This is a new function within our institute that emerged based on the need to strengthen, even further, the collaboration between the clinic and the industry.

My focus is on the collaborations between our team and the external parties and networks that are important for early clinical research. It is a fun challenge: connecting the right people, creating an overview of the needs of all the involved parties and matching these with each other. It is very exciting to see the development of a successful collaboration, where the expertise from the clinic and the industry strengthen each other. Fulfilling this role within the AVL is extra enjoyable since the results of these collaborations are instantly visible in practice, and research and patient care are combined fluently
