Information for patients

Clinical research is about finding new methods to treat a certain disease. In order to release a new treatment on the market, four clinical phases need to be successfully completed. At Early Drug Development Center (EDDC), we support and guide cancer patients through phase 1 & 2 clinical trials.

The goal of early clinical research is to optimize doses, reduce side effects and control the treatment effect on tumors.

On this page you will find more information about how clinical research works, who can join a clinical trial and how to register. We have also included a patient’s story in this section.
